Incorporating your business is the first step that you will take. You can incorporate in any state that you wish, as long as you have a registered agent (someone who will act on behalf of the organization and receive paperwork from the State or from the IRS) or a board member that is located within the state that you wish to incorporate in.

Most states will allow us to file your Articles of Incorporation online which will save you about 2 weeks of waiting time compared to the standard of mailing the Articles off to the state. Not only do you have the options of filing your Articles online, but many states also have expediting processes (there may be an additional fee to the state for this service) which will allow you to have your articles processed in a fraction of the time it would normally take.
